Ffotogallery Education have teamed up with David Boultbee from BREAD art collective to create groundbreaking online photographic artworks that can only exist with your creative input. Simply visit one of the designated ‘hives’ around the city, take a photograph and tweet it to the project using the hashtag (#) available at the hive and from the Diffusion website during May. Your photo will become a vital part of this cutting-edge artwork that will capture a month in the life of our vibrant city, its inhabitants and the festival.
– Image Collection
Participants can contribute images using Twitter via a smartphone or upload them via the ffotohive page. By tweeting an image with a hashtag, we can search out images that users post and gather them for inclusion in the collage.
We are using the following locations also known as ‘hives’ around the city, each of which will have a specific hashtag. Each location is clearly branded with instructions on where and how you can take your photos from.
Cardiff Market -> Tweet to #ffhmarket
Central Library -> Tweet to #ffhlibrary
Cardiff Bay -> Tweet to #ffhbay
The Hayes -> Tweet to #ffhhayes
Roath Park -> Tweet to #ffhroath
Tramshed -> Tweet to #ffhtram
A map and detailed instructions are on the ffotohive page.
