Maurizio Anzeri was born in Loano, Italy in 1969. He studied his BA at Camberwell College of Arts and an MFA at The Slade School of Art. He lives in London.

Anzeri’s work has been exhibited internationally and recent solo exhibitions include BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, UK (2011); The Garden Party, Q Forum, London, UK, LUNATICO, Rupert Pfab Gallery, Dusseldorf, Germany and Darwin’s Tears, Luce Gallery, Turin, Italy (all 2010); I will buy the flowers myself, Riflemaker, London, UK (2009). Group exhibitions include Shanghai Art Fair Guest Project, Shanghai, China (2012), Version and Diversions, Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin (2011) and One Night In Paris, The Photographer’s Gallery, London, UK (2009). His work is held in collections around the world including Saatchi, Gagosian, Rothschild, and the Collection of Alexander McQueen.
