Tina Carr (born Newcastle, 1950) and Annemarie Schöne (born Munich, 1947) have been working collaboratively for 30 years on many diverse projects combining both photography and video.

Selected exhibitions include: Call the Witness Media Archive of the 2nd Roma Pavilion, Venice Biennale (2011); Once We Were Birds, Open Society Institute, Brussels (2011), János Balázs Gallery, Budapest and Oriel Myrddin, Carmarthen (both 2010); Coal Faces, University of Glamorgan, National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, Oriel Q, Narberth and Westfälisches Industriemuseum, Dortmund (2004-9); National Eisteddfod of Wales (2002, 2003, 2005 & 2007).

Carr&Schöne’s work is held in public collections including The Photographer’s Gallery, London; The National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth; Deutsches Bergbaumuseum, Bochum, Germany; The Science Museum, London and Northumberland County Archives.
